Many people care for their elderly loved ones, and often these Carer roles are demanding.
There may be times and a range of reasons, (for example, ill health, travel or other family or work commitments), requiring Carers to take a break and get some support for a short period of time. This is called Respite and Wattle Hill Care has a small allocation of rooms for these needing Respite Care.
Our Respite accommodation and services are based on those provided to our permanent Residential Aged Care residents. These rooms are in high demand so if you do have an enquiry and specific dates in mind, please contact us to check availability.
- You will need to have a current ACAT assessment to be eligible for your Respite stay.
- You are entitled to 63 days of Respite Care per financial year (from 1 July to 30 June).
